The two-day capacity-building workshop for community stakeholders on Sulhu Sai Da Adalci (Peace and Reconciliation Require Justice), organised by GACRB, concluded today in Kaduna State.

The workshop brought together 50 participants from Birnin Gwari, Igabi, and Rigasa Chikun LGAs, including traditional and religious leaders from different faiths, youth and women leaders, as well as representatives of community-based organisations (CBOs).

One of the key lessons from the workshop was that the use of the Sulhu Manual significantly enhanced participants’ skills in adopting an interfaith approach to conflict resolution, leveraging alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and trust-building as pathways to sustainable peace.

GACRB is profoundly grateful to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), through its SPRiNG Nigeria Project, for supporting this impactful peacebuilding initiative in Northwest and North-Central Nigeria.
