On 23 January 2026, Green Advocacy for Conflict Prevention and Resilience Building (GACRB), with the support of SPRiNG Nigeria, officially commenced the second series of its two-day capacity building workshop on Sulhu Sai Da Adalci, bringing together community stakeholders from Birnin Gwari, Igabi, and Chukun Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, as well as Shiroro, Munya, and Rafi LGAs of Niger State.
The first day of the workshop featured interactive and impactful sessions centered on peacebuilding, inclusive dialogue, justice-based conflict resolution, and community resilience. Participants actively engaged in discussions, shared lived experiences, and reflected on practical approaches to addressing conflicts and fostering peaceful coexistence within their communities.

Through participatory learning and peer exchange, the sessions strengthened stakeholders’ understanding of locally grounded mechanisms for resolving disputes and promoting social harmony. The engagement highlighted the critical role of community actors in sustaining peace and building resilience at the grassroots level.
This initiative underscores GACRB’s continued commitment to empowering community stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to prevent conflict and promote justice-driven solutions that strengthen social cohesion.
As the workshop progresses into its second day, we remain optimistic about deepening collaboration, reinforcing shared values, and advancing collective efforts toward lasting peace and justice across participating communities.
